Avena is a German demo group, founded in 1993. Coding demos initially on the Atari ST, later on the Atari Falcon. Since these platforms have gone out of style, Avena is only responsible for music productions. But the urge to release a demo at some point is never gone, so only time will tell if Avena will one day reclaim its title as an innovative and coding-savvy demo crew.

Former Members:

One former Member was Tommy, who was responsible for most of the music in the avena demos and who was considered a very talented musician by many. Tommy ended his life on the 19.11.1998. He is still dearly missed and through his music is always present.

Another former member was Mr. Coke, multitalent coder, artist and musician, known in the falcon scene among other things for Delmpaint. Mr Coke left Avena and is currently working for Federation Against Nature.
